Information collected
When you use the contact form, LavKey may collect:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if provided;
- project information, including premises, available funds, your message and the source of the enquiry;
- technical information strictly necessary for the operation and security of the form.
Purchasing digital training
The training purchase process uses your email address, training language, order and Stripe payment references, amount, currency and payment status to record the order and grant access to your personal account.
Your account stores your email address, a hashed password and, for video modules in the French edition, viewing progress and completed modules. This information enables sign-in, resuming training and downloading the PDF included in your purchase. Activation and password-reset links expire and can only be used once.
Activation and password-reset emails are sent to the address used for the purchase through Infomaniak’s email service. Card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored in LavKey’s order database.
This information is used to process the purchase, manage training access and respond to order enquiries. Purchasing does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.
Why we use your information
Information is used to respond to contact-form enquiries, assess laundromat projects, provide requested commercial follow-up and keep the website secure.
Legal basis
Processing is based on LavKey’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and on taking pre-contractual steps when an enquiry concerns project support.
Who receives your information
Information is intended for LavKey and the technical providers needed to operate the website, including Linode for hosting, Stripe for payments and email services for message delivery.
Your information is not sold to third parties.
Retention
Contact-form information is kept for a maximum of three years after the last exchange, unless a legal obligation or an applicable deletion request requires otherwise.
Cookies and audience measurement
The training account uses a technical session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or audience measurement.
French training modules use embedded YouTube players. Loading and playing videos involves sharing technical data with YouTube. The English training is written and does not include a video player.
Technical services may be loaded to display the website, including web fonts.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, or object to processing.
